Position Overview: The Communication and Marketing Assistant is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing communication channels aimed at informing and engaging both company employees and the external public. This includes content creation, event organization, media relations management, and promoting the company's image. This role is essential for ensuring smooth and coherent communication, reinforcing corporate culture, and maintaining a good reputation with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communication:
- Information Management: Ensure the dissemination of important information within the organization.
- Draft and format communication materials for various channels, including:
- DHL TV (dynamic display via TV screens)
- SmartConnect (mobile application)
- Group notes and organizational change notes for France (new arrivals, role changes, etc.)
- Business news (email updates)
- Posters / flyers
Content Creation:
- Serve as an internal relay to deploy initiatives and gather information/photos/videos.
- Produce internal videos (storyboarding and editing).
- Lead the project to create a France newsletter (for sites and headquarters).
Internal Event Organization:
- Support the organization of internal events such as meetings, seminars, and Employee of the Year celebrations.
- Assist in the celebration of special days such as Environment Day, Safety Day, etc.
- Translate and support the deployment of Group campaigns (TogetherUnstoppable) and programs (Accelerated Digitalization, GoGreen, GoHelp, etc.).
- Support school relations (engineering schools and pharmacy universities).
External Communication / Marketing:
- Provide operational support to the Marketing and Communication Manager in implementing the annual plan.
- Marketing / External Communication:
- Conduct competitive analysis and market trend monitoring.
- Participate in the development of the annual marketing plan, aligned with the company strategy and targeted priority sectors.
- Design and execute communication campaigns (digital and offline) aimed at increasing brand awareness, generating qualified leads, and retaining customers, leveraging internal resources (Canva, Workfront, Account-Based Marketing, etc.) and collaborating with external providers (agencies, graphic designers, printers, etc.).
- Monitor performance and provide improvement recommendations.
- Create marketing content and sales collateral, including corporate and sector presentations, case studies, brochures, white papers, flyers, emails, landing pages, social media posts, articles, etc.
- Update content for DHL Supply Chain and DHL Fulfillment Network pages on dhl.com (French and English versions).
- Assist in organizing events such as trade shows, conferences, site visits, and client awards.
- Create and order promotional items.
- Translate various content from the Group.
Public Relations:
- Collaborate with the PR agency to identify media opportunities in economic press, Supply Chain media, and specialized press.
- Coordinate briefs, review, and validate deliverables (press releases, files, rankings, opinion pieces, interviews).
- Participate in organizing media/journalist events.
- Track performance (outcomes, performance indicators shared during Quarterly Business Reviews).
Branding:
- Contribute to branding operations for warehouses by collaborating with the provider from the development of specifications to on-site implementation, including the creation of various signage elements, posters, etc.
- Customer Satisfaction Survey (CXM):
- Serve as the point of contact for France for quarterly surveys: communicate key dates, update the client list in Salesforce, monitor performance, and follow up with stakeholders.
