As an EMC Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring mission success for NASA Spaceflight Programs. From test planning to analysis, your work will directly impact the safety and reliability of systems that reach beyond our planet.

Responsibilities:
Provide systems-level EMC/EMI support to NASA Spaceflight Programs.
Lead EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit test/analysis.
Review and evaluate data/waivers on:
Electromagnetic interference (EMI)
Electrostatic discharge
Grounding, bonding, isolation, and wiring integrity
Corona effects
Prepare reports, technical documentation, and schedules for design reviews and team meetings.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and NASA stakeholders to ensure compliance with mission requirements.

Other Requirements:
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
Direct experience supporting NASA Spaceflight Programs, including ISS hardware or payloads.
Extensive background preparing EMC/EMI-related reports, schedules, and technical documentation for design reviews.
Strong knowledge of NASA, DoD, or aerospace EMC standards beyond MIL-STD-461/462.
Demonstrated experience collaborating in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
Track record of effectively presenting technical findings to senior leadership, design review boards, and external stakeholders.
