The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to the business partners and help improve the effectiveness of our reporting, planning and forecasting activities to streamline processes and improve information tools to drive value.
Responsibilities
Perform data-driven analysis to identify issues, deliver insights and support decision-making
Assist with the consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Provide insights into cost trends in manufacturing, procurement, and logistics
Analyze and provide recommendations on raw material yield trends
Partner with operations and engineering organizations in support of capex planning and tracking
Support plant controllers with monthly reporting package preparation and ad hoc variance analysis
Assist in preparation of annual budget and supplemental forecasts
Assist in strategic analysis, financial payback calculations, and what-if scenario building
Perform analysis of monthly financial results and reconcile supporting documentation
Support operations finance standardization and documentation projects
Perform special projects and assignments as required
Qualifications
3+ years’ work experience in financial reporting, analysis, modeling and budgeting with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility
Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
Ability to understand complex issues and communicate clearly to non-finance business partners
Analytical, quantitative and logical with raw intellectual ability
An enthusiastic team member who collaborates well with others and builds strong working relationships
Ability to build strong business partnerships with support teams
Energetic and resilient with a strong work ethic; sense of accountability, open to feedback and focused on achieving excellence
Strong project manager with a desire to improve processes, takes initiative and committed to developing creative solutions that generate value
Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Experience with Power BI and databases preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Range of pay $105,000 - $115,000, annually. Plus, annual bonus.
