Your role as a Service Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Service Coordinator to support our team with customer service, inventory tracking, dispatching, and purchasing. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating work orders, managing purchase orders, handling expense reports, and serving as the primary dispatcher for the sheet metal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain purchase orders.
  • Process expense reports and manage credit card allocations.
  • Track shop inventory, ensuring accurate cost allocation and usage.
  • Serve as main dispatcher for the sheet metal team:
    • Create and assign new calls and special projects.
    • Conduct material audits on service calls.
    • Manage time submission for the sheet metal team.
    • Audit service calls.
    • Provide backup dispatch support for service or special projects.
  • Answer incoming service phone calls and provide customer support.
  • Review daily check log, match checks to work orders, and apply payments.
  • Make collection calls to delinquent customers.
  • Accept and process customer credit card payments.
  • Apply materials to work orders and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Create and enter work orders as needed.

What we're looking for in you

  • Previous experience in dispatch, administrative support, or customer service.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems.

Pay Range: $20.14 - $30.20 per hour.

The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
