POSITION SUMMARY

Aleut Federal is seeking a Costpoint & Financial Systems Engineer to assist the Senior Costpoint Administrator in developing and implementing strategies and a roadmap for digital finance transformation while balancing impact, resources and time.

The selected candidate should understand most modules of Costpoint from both a front-end user perspective and back-end technical point of view, while also having experience with 3rd party integrations, implementations, and migrations from other systems to Costpoint. The candidate should be well balanced in accounting and IT or accounting information systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Support Costpoint user base with guidance on the use of applications as well as troubleshooting application errors, including creating and responding to support cases submitted to Deltek.
• Assist Senior Engineer with Deltek Cloud maintenance functions, including various database refreshes, Cloud outage reporting, and SaaS Administration.
• Create custom Cognos BI reports and modify existing reports based on user needs and requests.
• Assist with setting up and modifying user and user group rights to achieve and maintain proper segregation of duties.
• Develop plans and scripts for testing Deltek upgrades and quarterly releases.
• Must be available for standby assignments and work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required
• May require travel -- approximately 10%

EDUCATION/TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent in combined education and experience)

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of related job experience with at least 3 years of ERP, including Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cognos BI

SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Strong working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, including Time & Expense, Cognos BI, and MS SharePoint.
• Self-starter, comfortable in a fluid working environment with competing priorities.
• Strong technical and functional experience with financial management reporting systems, data architectures and business intelligence tools.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and processes across organizational lines.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to a non-technical audience.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced work setting
• Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks
• Capacity to work in a high-stress environment
• Aptitude for learning new methods and systems

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks or motions for prolonged periods

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This is a hybrid position that requires work to be performed onsite at a corporate location and from a home office.
• Working indoors in an office or home office environment.

Locations: This position will be expected to perform duties at the corporate facility within Reston, VA and within a home office.???

Rate: $125,000 – 140,000 (final rate based on experience)
