Physical Requirements
This position will regularly require sitting and standing for extended periods; repetitive motion tasks (such as typing at a computer); standing and/or walking with up to 10 lbs. This position may require occasional job related travel.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays per department needs.
Job Summary
The Prospect Strategy Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the University of Kentucky’s Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement (PAE) philanthropic goals. You’ll be a strategic connector and trusted guide—working at the intersection of data, donor strategy, and fundraising success. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner with gift officers, prospect research, and advancement leaders to build strong donor pipelines and optimize fundraising portfolios.
As a go-to expert on portfolio strategy and moves management, you’ll equip gift officers with the insights, tools, and guidance they need to deepen donor engagement and reach their goals. You’ll also shape and lead key processes—from portfolio reviews to proposal forecasting—ensuring strategy is clear, data is actionable, and systems are aligned across all assigned fundraising units.
