Cumming Group is seeking a Benefits Specialist II who will be responsible for administering Cumming Group’s core U.S. benefit plans and programs and leaves of absence. This position will also support team members by educating and informing them on their eligibility for benefits and programs, and assist with accessing and utilizing company benefits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary plans.
Support 401(k) administration
Liaise with carriers and team members to resolve issues.
Process and audit enrollment data in Workday.
Manage benefits email account and respond to inquiries.
Support monthly invoice reconciliation and enrollment audits.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, and external vendors.
Other duties as assigned.
Attendance at work during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Proven problem-solving skills.
Strong degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met.
Detail-oriented and with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated internal service skills with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
Multi-state and self-funded experience is preferred
Strong understanding of benefits compliance, including but not limited to, ERISA, HIPAA, ADA/ADAAA, COBRA, and FMLA;
Workday experience preferred.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in benefits and leaves of absence administration.
