The Financial Manager, Operations is a key partner to Ajinomoto Foods North America operations and supply chain teams, enabling well-informed and timely strategic decisions for aggressive growth and footprint optimization.
Responsibilities
Provide strategy and recommendations to finance and supply chain leadership
Lead cost savings initiatives reporting and reconciliation to P&L
Manage the consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports pertaining to Operations
Take on operations analysis for strategic investments and ROI projects
Develop and maintain cross-divisional relationships with key business partners to maximize team’s effectiveness
Analyze and forecast changes in inventory valuation and variance capitalization
Drive KPI standardization and adoption across the supply chain
Design and upgrade financial dashboards, analytical tools and key metrics
Provide cross-functional training on financial metrics and budget elements
Lead operations rolling forecast preparation and analysis
Perform special projects and assignments as required
Qualifications
5+ years’ work experience in financial reporting, analysis, modeling and budgeting with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility
Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
Ability to understand complex issues and communicate clearly to non-finance business partners
Analytical, quantitative and logical with raw intellectual ability
An enthusiastic team member who collaborates well with others and builds strong working relationships
Ability to build strong business partnerships with support teams
Energetic and resilient with a strong work ethic; sense of accountability, open to feedback and focused on achieving excellence
Strong project manager with a desire to improve processes, takes initiative and committed to developing creative solutions that generate value
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives; prior experience managing teams is a plus, as this role may include direct reports in the future
Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Experience with Power BI and databases preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Range of pay $115,000 - $130,000, annually. Plus, annual bonus.
