Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
- Supervises environmental services staff to include assigning duties and checking work.
- Ensures cleanliness is maintained in buildings, offices, classrooms, fitness centers and laboratories including furnishings, equipment, entrances and walkways.
- Instructs new employees in specific duties and in safety rules and regulations.
- Solves minor personnel and disciplinary problems.
- Refers major problems to supervisor.
- Requisitions janitorial materials, supplies and equipment.
- Inspects assigned areas for desired results.
- Utilizes a University vehicle to travel to and from work sites or in transporting materials.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
