Transport Planner - Military veterans preferred

Shift days: Monday to Friday
Location: Daventry, NN6 7GW

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Create routes and allocate vehicles, alongside Driver resources to meet planning deadlines
• Planning and consolidating customer orders
• Liaising with Customer and Transport teams
• Building a cost effective and efficient plan

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Transport planning experience within an FMCG environment (Essential)
• Excellent knowledge of planning
• Good critical thinking skills
• Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
