Overview

Position: Hardware & Indirect Sourcing Co-op (Spring/Summer 2026)

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Major: Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems or Business Administration

Academic Schedule: January to August, 2026 . Full-time, 40 hours per week

Rate of pay: $25 to $30 depending on degree program

 

About the experience: Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They obtain experience in supply chain strategy development and execution that result in bottom line improvement of the organization. Our top Global Sourcing professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate, who will also get exposure to Engineering and other professionals.



Responsibilities

Support a major Lean project, expanding the Vendor Managed Inventory program.

 

Tasks include data analysis (material type, usage, spend) for multi-million-dollar contracts using power BI and excel.

 

Support RFQ and commercial negotiation for fasteners, seals (gaskets, rings, bushings, packing) and consumables for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO).



Qualifications



  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Currently enrolled as a Senior at an accredited college and pursuing a business related degree.
  • Excellent ability to analyze, model and interpret large data with methodical and logical approach
  • Excellent strategic and analytical thinking
  • Effective organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers and partners
  • Good knowledge/experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
  • Phone calls and in-person meetings, with multi-level stakeholders are part of routine.
