What You Will Do
Supports the activities and procedures of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration in the day-to-day operations of the division and the office. Serves as a liaison and representative in various capacities as requested. Determines feasibility of expenditures and purchases. Serves as web administrator for the VCFA office and for the Administrative Services unit. Assists the VCFA with SPA Process. Serves as VCFA liaison with Human Resources on personnel concerns such as unit hiring, PEALEAV administration, payroll issues, and department time entry. Provides assistance to the Freedom of Information Officer for the University. Assists in the coordination of responses for General Counsel. Serves as liaison with all lease holders, ensuring all needs are met. Reviews all requests submitted for an Expressive Activity. Determines need associated with the Open Meetings Act and provides information regarding Open Meetings Act protocol to administration.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
2+ years experience in Higher Education, nonprofit management, or Human Resources administration and operations.

Experience with executive support in a higher education or nonprofit context is a plus.
