RTR Specialist


Job Purpose:

Ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial data, manages the general ledger, and produces timely and reliable financial reports in accordance with the definition set on DHL Group Accounting Manual and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update supporting report for details of accounts in Balance Statement.
  • Lead the follow-up process for the settlement of employee advances, supplier advances, and container deposits, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with financial policies.
  • Oversee the reconciliation process for bank and petty cash accounts, proactively investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Manage the preparation of the auto-debit Telkom invoice process, streamlining workflow and ensuring accurate journal entries across all products.
  • Conduct and oversee the monthly Cash Management close and bank revaluation processes, ensuring they are executed accurately and within established timelines while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Solving CREST reporting error, and coordinate with all stakeholders to solve validation error.
  • Updating rental agreement & commitment lease in LEAP.
  • Maintain Statistic Report.
  • Lead the strategic review of service center allocations to product PL, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the processing of FTE reports and journals, ensuring alignment with HR data and driving improvements in reporting accuracy.
  • Prepare and present the IWS PL analysis by customer to product heads, offering strategic insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the external auditor team, ensuring timely and accurate data provision while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Supervise the monthly reconciliation process in Blackline, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Manage ICON controls and oversee evidence uploads, ensuring robust compliance and operational integrity.
  • Monitor the Accounting dashboard, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in financial performance.
  • Lead the account matching process for open items, ensuring timely resolution and enhancing financial accuracy.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits for ISO and ICS for products, driving adherence to standards and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate the posting of inhibit journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
  • Mentor and support team members in RTR processes, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Deliver various ad-hoc analyses for management, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure adherence to Global SOPs in RTR processes, promoting best practices and consistency across the organization. 
  • Comply with Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Business Continuity Management Systems procedures and regulations, and participate in their programs.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree is an advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP,IFRS) and financials regulations
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting & Reporting role or industry
• Proficiency in English language, both in writing and speaking
• Advanced excel skills, knowledge in data analytics tools is an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Clean criminal record and adherence to ethical standards
