How you will make an impact:
As a Lead IT Security Analyst, you will serve as a senior technical expert guiding our cybersecurity strategy and leading high-impact security initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leaders, embedding security into every aspect of operations. Your leadership in incident response, risk management, and enterprise-wide security solutions will be instrumental in protecting our organization from threats. You’ll also mentor others and foster a culture of security awareness and accountability.
Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide security initiatives and projects.
Oversee the investigation and resolution of high-severity security incidents.
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to reduce organizational exposure.
Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
Evaluate and implement advanced security technologies and tools.
Represent the security function in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts to build team capability.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
8–10 years of experience in IT, including systems and network administration, security, vulnerability management, and strategic planning.
Deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture and regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience leading cross-functional security projects.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
Preferred:
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent advanced certification.
Experience with cloud security and hybrid environments.
Strong public speaking and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
