How you will make an impact:
As a Press Operator, you will play a vital role in safely and effectively operating presses and finishing equipment, ensuring all support processes result in products that meet or exceed customer requirements. Your detailed understanding of each process and how they interact under normal production conditions ensures maximum productivity and high-quality output. You will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the equipment, directly impacting the overall success and reputation of the business.

  • Operate and monitor press machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

  • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of press machinery for optimal performance.

  • Adjust machinery settings to ensure product accuracy and quality.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams for setup and operation guidance.

  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and issues.

  • Ensure safety and compliance with all relevant procedures and company policies.

  • Practice safe and efficient material handling for raw materials and finished goods.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:

  • High School diploma or commensurate experience.

  • 3+ years of previous press experience including flexographic printing, prepress, and rotary die cutting.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
