Job Summary
This position’s primary responsibilities are:
  • Interact with employees and areas where chemicals are used and stored to keep current chemical safety programs, procedures, inventories, training, and recordkeeping up to date.
  • Perform chemical user risk assessments and perform or support exposure monitoring.
  • Conduct training, develop web content, and in-person technical support for chemical users.
  • Utilize and manage University databases to perform data analysis and create written reports to track compliance with OSHA, DHS, and EPA standards.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
EXPERIENCE WITH COMPUTER-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT; DEVELOPING AND PRESENTING TRAINING PROGRAMS, Microsoft 365
