Join Student Records and Financial Services as a Program Aide! We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated professional to be part of our team.

Along with providing high-quality customer service, this position handles general student account activities, including processing payments and refunds, assisting with billing, and balancing accounts. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

1. Check Production
Prints and processes daily campus checks, including manual/replacement checks, stop payments, voids, and refunds. Reviews flagged checks, manages Positive Pay, and provides weekly fund totals to the Business Office.

2. Billable Programs
Processes billable credits and book accounts; bills all outside agencies; posts agency payments; verifies receipts; and disburses funds to student accounts. Also responsible for billable account collections when payments are not received.

3. Billable Curriculum Cost (BCC) Accounts
Manages financial aid for non-institutional expenses (tools, laptops, supplies), verifies Title IV authorizations, adds and adjusts BCC accounts, and notifies vendors of funded amounts.

4. Scholarship Processing
Institutional: Requests funds from Institutional Advancement and Business Affairs, verifies check totals, disburses funds, and reconciles scholarship accounts.
Non-institutional: Monitors and disburses external scholarships, issues refunds, returns funds when necessary, and reconciles accounts monthly.

5. HESC Payments
Processes TAP and Consolidated Scholarship payments, resolves issues, prepares manual checks and remittance advices, and updates student accounts accordingly.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Interested candidates that currently hold the title, have previously held the title, or hold a transferable title and are able to perform the duties of the position as described in the classification standard by the Department of Civil Service may apply.

Transition: one year of permanent competitive service in a clerical, keyboarding, secretarial, or paraprofessional title allocated to Grade 5 or higher.

OR

Three years of experience performing clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional work in an office environment.
