NeoGenomics is looking for a Platform Analyst wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a remote position with a Monday – Friday day shift.

Position Summary:

As a Platform Analyst you are responsible for identifying areas of improvement in process and information systems as well as supporting active business initiatives and projects. The main function is to analyze and document requirements from the business requests and then work with a cross-functional team (internal and external to IT) to deliver systematic solutions. You will act as an ambassador of IT and serve to communicate between various teams and departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, vendors, business units, development teams, and employees to help establish detailed requirements for systematic enhancements
  • Understand business processes and needs of the customers and translate them to specific software requirements
  • Detailed documentation and analysis using common tools such as Jira, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Lucid charts
  • Technical understanding of technical design and architecture of our IT landscape
  • Participate in the rollout of solutions directly involved in or have contributed to
  • Contribute to the development of user guides, training materials, knowledge bases, and documentation
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and training users on new features
  • Objectively and proactively overcome roadblocks and issues

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in Health Information Management (e.g., RHIA, RHIT) is preferred
  • Experience creating and maintaining high level design proposals, wire frames, user stories, user scenarios, and UML Call Sequence diagrams
  • Knowledge of software development design patterns, pub/sub, faade, JSON, RESTful APIs, and relational databases
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity and desire to unravel complex challenges
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to document processes and requirements accurately
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
  • Occasional travel may be required to our remote offices in CA, FL, TN, and TX
