This role is designated under the Cyber Workforce Framework (CWF) and requires an Advanced level of proficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment, demonstrating expertise in systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and the full software development lifecycle.

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will serve as the technical lead for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of sophisticated software, web, and hardware systems. You'll bridge the gap between network engineering and software development, ensuring all system components—from infrastructure to application—are working together seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of complex business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze, plan, and develop hybrid systems across software, web, and hardware platforms.
  • Provide application testing and database management support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain systems using a structured SDLC process: specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Integrate various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware components into cohesive solutions.
  • Support enterprise architecture efforts using tools such as IBM's System Architect in alignment with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network engineers, and program managers, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Document system workflows and create architectural diagrams to support planning and operational decision-making.

*This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. The anticipated start date and scope of work will be determined based on the outcome of the interview process and the details of the awarded contract.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in:
    • Implementing business and technical requirements
    • Systems analysis, planning, and development
    • Application testing and database management
  • Demonstrated experience with DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools (e.g., IBM's System Architect).
  • Strong background in systems engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of network and software integration.
  • Proficiency in designing and deploying resilient web-based systems.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools such as IBM's System Architect.
  • Familiarity with DoD IT environments and frameworks.
  • IAT Level III certification such as CISSP (or Associate) or CCNP.
  • Active Secret Clearance required at time of application.

Additional Good to have Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications in systems engineering, enterprise architecture, or network operations.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid project management environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical project lifecycles and stakeholder engagement.
