Title: Director, TRIO Program for Student Achievement
Unit: Non-Unit Professional (NUP) (Grant Funded Position)
Department: Student Affairs, Student Support Services
Reports to: Assistant Dean of Student Support Services
General Summary: The Director is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within the TRIO Program for Student Achievement (PSA) serving 100 eligible students with documented disabilities, in close collaboration with the Student Access and Support Services Office. The PSA provides academic and financial aid advising, career and transfer counseling, and individualized tutoring. The Director recruits and supervises staff and eligible students, delivery of services to eligible students, direct service activities, and management and administration of the grant budget. The Director is responsible for the development and administration of all grant procedural elements and program policy; and overseeing the development of evaluations, annual performance reports and continuation grants.

This position is supported through federal grant funding. While the college is fully committed to the success of this program, continued employment in this role is contingent upon ongoing grant funding. Should federal funding change in the future, the position may be impacted.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $84,000; actual salary commensurate with academic background and experience. Employees of Middlesex Community College are considered employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and receive benefits, which include:
Location: Lowell campus with occasional travel to Bedford as needed
Hours: 37.5 per week, schedule to be determined upon hire, this position will be eligible for a maximum of one day of telework in accordance with the College's telework policy.
