GTMR, Inc. is seeking a SIGINT RF Engineer to join our family. The work location for this position is at our corporate office in Hollywood, MD. In this role you will set up, configure and test multi-rack signal-intelligence systems, troubleshoot and isolate system faults. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities. Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, modification, setup, checkout and teardown.
  • Conducts tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviews.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory, system and test-related problems.
  • Coordinates test laboratory activities and on aircraft test events, maintenance and repairs.
  • Coaches and trains others.

 

Qualifications

This position requires an active Current Secret US Security Clearance and be eligible for Top Secret clearance.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience analyzing existing RF Systems, RF designs and developing comprehensive system test criteria.
  • Experience in presenting status and technical alternatives as required for new or existing RF systems.
  • Experience with RF specific related to SIGINT sensor operations and development.
  • Experience with four (4) of the following seven (7) capabilities is desired: MPTOD or the Light House Family of Systems, Classic Reach, Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) Family of Systems, Joint Signals Processor (JSP), Wireless Communications Systems (WiFi, 2G, 3G, 4G, etc), Minotaur, and Multiplatform Geolocation (MPG) capabilities with JICD 4.2.
  • Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) measurements, testing procedures and test equipment.
  • Identifies and resolves test anomalies.
  • Demonstrate ability to think independently and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience writing, reviewing and updating test procedures.
  • Experience working in a T&E lab environment and Navy P-8 platform.

 

Work shifts are variable and could include day/evening/night. Possible weekend work may be necessary depending on customer requirements and schedules. 

 

Occasional travel will be required

 

Typical Education/Experience: 

 Bachelor degree in related discipline and typically 4 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in RF Engineering specific to RF Communications and SIGINT sensors
