Description:

Plateau is seeking an experienced Cloud System Administrator's to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native applications and infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and cloud security best practices.

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications using micro-services architecture, understand containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless functions, and API gateways.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.

- Implement and maintain secure cloud environments in compliance with industry standards (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC).

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and cloud scalability

- Monitor the local ticketing system continuously during hours of operation and complete/close-out the tickets within the system

- Manage cloud storage solutions including object, bloc, and file storage.

- Secure containerized environments using various methods for image scanning, runtime protection and

compliance enforcement

- Other duties as assigned

To get started, you must have:

- Security + certification

- Be a high school graduate

- Possess a SECRET clearance

- Experience working in a cloud or hybrid cloud environment

- 1-2 years experience working with cloud system administration and cloud-native application development.
