Strategic Bid Excellence Manager - Military veterans preferred

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Remote with occasional national business travel (residing within the Midlands Region would be beneficial)

We're now looking for a Strategic Bid Excellence Manager to write and design creative and innovative content. Are you motivated and driven to deliver winning proposals? Can you lead and inspire people to become the best version of themselves?

?KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and inspire a small team of bid professionals to deliver proposals of the highest quality
• Own relationships with senior colleagues within our sales teams to prioritise opportunities and activities that will have the biggest impact on our growth
• Lead and facilitate workshops (both in-person and online) to develop and review bespoke, opportunity-specific value propositions
• Creation of proposal storyboards that support the articulation and delivery of the bid strategy, ensuring adherence to customer requirements where necessary
• Development of the written proposal, focusing on the creation of bespoke content in addition to the customisation of bid library content
• Lead and develop the creation of post-submission presentations (internal and external to the client)

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with people at all levels of an organisation
• Demonstrable leadership skills and experience within bidding
• Experience writing and managing public sector bids - preferred
• Strong track record developing and managing winning proposals
• Proficient user of MS Office, preferably with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and ADOBE Creative Cloud tools
• Ability to evidence links to the APMP (including certification) is desired
