Shift Manager - Military veterans preferred

Pay Rate: £40,000 + Any Shift Premium + Any Overtime

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)/ Night Shift
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off | 18:00 -6:00
Location: Daventry, NN11 8NF

We're now looking for a Night Shift Manager to run a warehouse and recycling operation for a DHL customer

?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Manage operational performance, resource and workload planning on shift to achieve agreed KPI's on productivity, quality and cost
• Support, develop and performance manage the First Line Management team to drive a high-performance culture
• Manage cost budget for own area and identify cost saving opportunities where appropriate
• Will Oversee tasks in recycling and warehouse during the night shift
• Will focus on effective warehouse management and sustainability of waste reduction (recycling, reusable packaging), improved inventory management.

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Experience of working within a fast moving food Retail supply chain environment -desirable
• Some one with recycling and warehouse management experence ( not Transport)
• Some who is flexible and happy with Night shift , weekend work
• Finance for Non Finance Managers - desirable
• First Choice Leader trained - desirable
• Efficient Warehouse Practices trained - desirable
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to thrive n a demanding fast passed environment
