The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide technical expertise installing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise technology systems in support of a federal law enforcement agency’s real estate and facilities management initiatives. This role will ensure system stability, optimize performance, and provide day-to-day operational support across the technology portfolio.

At Leidos, you will join a team of innovators tackling some of the world’s most complex challenges through advanced technology solutions. We offer a collaborative environment where your TRIRIGA expertise and leadership will directly impact mission success, while providing exceptional opportunities for professional growth and advancement. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Develop and implement custom solutions, workflows, and system configurations to support mission requirements within TRIRIGA/IWMS and related enterprise systems.

  • Monitor systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

  • Perform installation, configuration, and ongoing support of enterprise applications, databases, and middleware.

  • Maintain the real estate and facilities technology portfolio, including system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management.

  • Support integration between TRIRIGA/IWMS and other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and interoperability.

  • Apply expertise with Oracle, Java, Linux/UNIX/AIX, and WebSphere libraries to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot application environments.

  • Provide user support and training, managing system access, permissions, and issue resolution.

  • Maintain system documentation, technical procedures, and configuration baselines to support audits and compliance.

  • Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and IT security teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions.

  • Participate in technical meetings, change management reviews, and system planning sessions, providing actionable recommendations.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret.

Basic Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator supporting enterprise environments (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • Proven expertise with databases, networks, system security, and data backup/recovery processes.

  • Strong SQL development skills with the ability to design queries, optimize performance, and support data integrations.

  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automation scripts in PERL (experience with PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting is a plus).

  • Solid background in Windows Server Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft IIS configuration/management.

  • Proficiency with Linux, UNIX, and AIX environments, with strong command-line administration and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Working knowledge of Oracle databases, Java environments, and IBM WebSphere libraries to support enterprise applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience administering enterprise applications or integrated workplace/real estate systems in enterprise or government environments.

  • Familiarity with federal real estate and facilities management processes, compliance, and reporting requirements.

  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks to support structured operations and service delivery.

  • Hands-on experience with data integration, reporting, and analytics tools to support portfolio insights and performance metrics.

  • Understanding of building automation systems (BAS), IoT integrations, or smart building technologies as they relate to facilities management.

  • Experience supporting cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or hybrid) for enterprise applications.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and federal standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP) relevant to enterprise systems.

  • Familiarity with enterprise asset management (EAM) or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with real estate service delivery teams, facilities managers, and IT SMEs to align technology with mission needs.

At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”

If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
