Panther Services Assistant



Are you organized, reliable, and enjoy helping others? Pitt-Bradford is seeking a Panther Services Assistant to support key campus services with professionalism and care.

This part-time, benefits-eligible position (10–20 hours/week, year-round) places you at the center of campus operations, offering hands-on experience in customer service, logistics, and event support.

What You'll Do:

  • Accept, sort, and distribute mail and packages for students, faculty, and staff
  • Coordinate outgoing mail and shipping logistics
  • Provide excellent customer service and support for Conference Services
  • Assist with the Panther ID Center and other Auxiliary Services (such as camps and conferences) as needed

Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.50/h


Schedule: 10–20 hours per week, 12 months a year

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, data entry, Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to lift and move packages (up to 25 lbs) as part of daily responsibilities
  • Prior experience in mail services, customer service, or campus operations is a plus
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • High School diploma or GED

Job Summary

Performs a variety of office support and clerical duties with exceptional customer service skills following established policies and procedures. Greets and assists visitors, answers telephone and provides information, schedules and manages calendars, edits routine documents, operates standard office equipment, and other associated functions.


Essential Functions
