Jr. Program Manager – Contingent on Contract Award

Kegman Inc, is a Women-Owned, Service-Disabled, and Veteran-Owned Small Business in Melbourne FL providing engineering and technical support to U.S. Government clients. We are seeking a Jr. Program Manager to join our team.

NOTE: This is not a remote/telework job.  This job requires the selected applicant to have an active U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire and, therefore, requires U.S. citizenship. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Jr. Program Manager will serve as support to our government customer and be responsible for managing the operational aspects of multiple ongoing projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Integrates activities within and across assigned programs to optimize operational performance of workflows to include improving data accuracy and enhancing reporting capabilities
  • Assists with the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of process design initiatives that span multiple projects to reduce processing time by task, standardize processes, and reduce overall program costs
  • Works directly with product and project management teams to understand their specific Jira needs and agile development teams to provide Jira guidance
  • Management of office responsibilities to include workflows, schedule, and additional administrative duties as assigned
 Basic Qualifications
  • Must have excellent communications skills both verbal and written
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Two years of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira integration and functions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Confluence and Jira integration and functions
  • Experience with USAF administrative and/or task management workflows
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must have ability to be granted a U.S. Government-issued security clearance.
