Responsibilities

Hexagon ALI is looking for an individual to be a part of the Salesforce Service Cloud Team within the IT organization. This Agile team supports the ALI Global Support Organization in Salesforce including the ALI Service Console application and the ALI Smart Community (Customer Community). The team supports core Salesforce capabilities as well as managed packages and add-ons such as Coveo (Knowledge Search) and GetFeedback (Customer Sat Surveys). In addition, there are custom Salesforce integrations to several Azure DevOps and Jira instances as well as other connected applications. The Service Cloud Salesforce Administrator will be a key contributor on the Agile team to build out new functionality as well as support existing functionality.

  • Serve as the Service Cloud technical lead for administration, deployments, and sandbox environment management.
  • Provide leadership with respect to internal processes and tasks, recommending new approaches and technologies to ensure quality and productivity
  • Guide configuration and contribute to solution design.
  • Provide Salesforce technical support to both internal ALI Support Analysts and Customer Community users.
  • Participate with team in stakeholder meetings to understand requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on complex problems.
  • Perform deployments to the various Salesforce sandboxes and production as needed using Copado.
  • Work as part of an Agile Scrum team to deliver functionality and solutions to the business in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to cross-team collaboration efforts related to major projects when needed.
  • Manage all layers of security related to Service Cloud (roles, profiles, perm sets, sharing rules, etc).
  • Provide technical leadership on data migration efforts (both planning and execution) related to M&A activity.
  • Assist with other Salesforce related tasks as needed

Education / Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is expected with a preferred focus in MIS or other relevant field of study.
  • A minimum of 4 years of Salesforce Administrator experience.
  • Should have participated in all areas of the Salesforce development lifecycle and provided leadership in at least some areas (requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployments, and support).
  • Should be a proponent of continuing education on the Salesforce Platform and should understand best practices when it comes to security, configuration, deployments, etc.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills required to provide a high level of customer service to Salesforce users.
  • Solid trouble shooting skills to determine the root cause of complex issues.
  • Strong collaboration skills are needed to work well with a team of technical resources.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to follow good governance practices in order to work on a Salesforce platform that has multiple teams doing deployments.
  • Must have a proven track record of delivering quality work with attention to detail.
  • Experience with the Copado Dev Ops platform is preferred.
  • Experience with the 3rd party Salesforce tools Coveo and GetFeedback is preferred.
