Job Summary
The Gerber/Sasse lab is seeking to hire a lab Scientist I.

Our lab is focused on improving therapeutics for lung disease through studying the genetic and molecular basis of inflammation and airway cell differentiation. After receiving training in techniques relevant to this research, applicants will be expected to perform basic cell culture and other molecular biology techniques.

Applicants will also be responsible for assisting with aspects of lab organization including reagent and glassware preparation, and maintaining organized stocks of all key laboratory supplies and reagents. Applicants will also participate in ensuring laboratory compliance with all relevant regulations related to the research conducted in the lab. Applicants will have the opportunity to gain new scientific skills, and will be expected to be active participants in lab research meetings. Applicants should have a MS in a scientific discipline and experience with basic laboratory techniques.
