Logistician, Jr. - Military veterans preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist technical experts with preparation and validation of procurement documentation.
• Control and track material movement.
• Complete and manage Monthly Status Reports (MSRs).
• Conduct market research on procurement items to compare costs, value, availability, etc. 
• Track status of Procurement Requests (PRs).
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Resolve inventory-tracking issues and discrepancies.
• Audit goods, materials, and equipment received. 
• Coordinate and maintain audit readiness, ensuring property items are tagged and recorded.
• Occasional travel may be required for this position.

EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience with logistics support. 
• Experience in analyzing and preparing logistics documentation and plans. 
• Proficient in: Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Adobe.
• Valid Maryland Driver’s License.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution. On the Job (OJT) experience substitution is acceptable.

CLEARANCE: 

Ability to obtain Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
