Position Summary 

Receives, ships, stores, material, supplies, merchandise, and or tools, and complies stock records in the stockroom, warehouse, serialization and shipping. 

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: 

• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
• Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
• Performs the necessary system transactions for inventory receipts.
• Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size,
or type of material.
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
• Prepares periodic, special, or cycle counting of stock.
• Compiles and maintains reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory
counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of
shipments.
• Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
• Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
• Assists in other production areas as requested.
• Assists in packing and shipping duties as necessary.
 
• Performs the necessary shipping system transactions.
• Assists in the Serialization process as necessary.
• Adheres to all safety standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Apply all industry handling standards 

• Other duties, as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

Applicants must possess any education, training or experience necessary to perform all essential duties and responsibilities associated with the position. Education, training and experience indicative of an individual’s ability to perform all essential job duties and responsibilities include the following: 

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year experience in stockroom environment
  • Ability to read work instructions, picking lists, production drawings/schematics and follow instructions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
