Job Overview

The Lead, Internal Audit Program is responsible for leading and assisting in the execution of internal audit program initiatives aligned with the organizational objectives through effective partnerships. This role partners closely with operational department leaders to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the enterprise's internal audit program. Acting as both a business consultant and change agent, the Lead is responsible for mentoring and coaching the internal audit team members, including providing guidance and direction for the execution of departmental systems and processes. Also, building the analytics and reporting structure to allow for ongoing measurement and monitoring. The position requires strong collaboration across all levels of staff and management while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with internal audit program management, including: Program performance improvement, and adherence to relevant Federal, State, and local healthcare Internal Audit laws & regulations required.

  • Professional certification required (i.e., Certified Public Accountant - CPA, Certified Internal Auditor - CIA, Certified Healthcare Compliance - CHC).

  • Candidates without a current certification must obtain one within two years of hire.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Compensation

$100,572.16 - $125,715.20 annually
