Math Consultant

We are looking for a constructive Math Consultant who will provide tutoring and mentorship to Pitt-Bradford students in our on-campus Math Center. This temporary position offers 10-20 hours a week.

Duties: Tasks include, but are not limited to, tutoring, assisting with homework, and actively engaging in problem solving. The consultant will promote awareness of our academic support services by contacting professors, speaking to classes, and/or developing promotional materials and displays with director.

Pay: $17.50/h


Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field; available for 10-20 hours a week with a flexible schedule to accommodate student need; strong interest in and awareness of teaching/learning skills and course subject material; excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills; good working knowledge of campus resources.
**Preference is given to applicants capable of tutoring higher-level courses**
