Position Title: Training Content Analyst / Sr Training Content Analyst

Location: Des Moines, IA, United States

Description:
The Training Content Analyst creates engaging training content for use in a variety of settings including in person, virtual and digital. Working in a team setting, the Training Content Analyst also supports use of all types of training content by administering the learning management system, assisting with event planning and facilitation.

Responsibilities:
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content for delivery across multiple platforms (in person, virtual and digital) on a variety of topics such as professional skills, leadership, technology, processes and business competencies.
• Design content using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Deliver training products for a variety of levels of employees and leaders such as individual contributors, supervisors, managers, directors and vice presidents.
• Consult with customers to evaluate training needs, research various topics and analyze information to determine content structure, target audience and learning objectives.
• Use various techniques and tools, such as apps, graphics, animations, video, audio, podcasts, online collaboration sites, social media and webinars to deliver training content.
• Curate training content by researching, recommending, developing and promoting new materials and serve as moderator for related social learning sites.
• Review materials for accuracy and clarity prior to distribution; adhere to style guidelines and design standards.
• Administer the learning management system related to courses, offerings, assignments, etc., and develop reports and analyze data for responding to training data requests and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Plan events, functions and informational tours, take ownership for the details such as facility scheduling, catering orders, supplies and event communications.
• Work in a team setting, participating in various team and cross-functional projects or additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Associate degree in human resources, business, learning & development, or administrative fields.
Candidates that do not possess an associate degree must have 2 years' experience in human resources, business, learning & development, or administrative fields.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Experience using relevant tools for online content delivery and design/development including content authoring tools; photo, video and audio editing tools. For example, Storyline, Flash, Camtasia, Photoshop, and SharePoint. Basic knowledge of Java Script and HTML coding a plus.
Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools, and with video and audio editing tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
