Systems Administrator, Junior

Antech Systems is looking for a Systems Administrator to join the team at its headquarters located in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this position, the candidate will work with a small IT team to support all aspects of Antech's corporate operations. You will work on many different systems and develop solutions to complex problems requiring a high degree of innovation. Successful candidates will be self-motivated problem solvers who don't want a repetitive job role and make decisions with little supervision.
Responsibilities include:
  • Administer Active Directory, Intune, DNS, DHCP, and other Office 365 products
  • Troubleshoot various Windows servers and services.
  • Recommend and implement security improvements to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Configure systems in compliance with company and government policies.
  • Support security frameworks (CMMC, NIST 800-171)

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server administration
  • PowerShell scripting for automation a plus
  • Knowledge of incident, request, and change management processes.
  • CMMC or NIST 800-171 compliance knowledge preferred.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ preferred
  • Other relevant IT certifications (MCP, MCSE/MCSA/AZURE Cloud, VMware AirWatch, Apple) a plus.
Salary Range: $62,000 - $84,000
