We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.

 

Job Purpose:

Working with SDH 1 and RDM systems, monitor data interfaces, investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply fixes to maintain reliable data flows. You will conduct data consistency checks, cleansing activities, and leverage your knowledge of HDL and/or People API alongside SQL or database tools to validate and troubleshoot data. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes, ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.

Supporting 2nd level support / DevOps activities, collaborating with divisional counterparts, and delivering high-quality data management solutions that meet both local and global needs.

 

Your tasks:

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reference data within SDH 1 and RDM platforms.
  • Monitor data interfaces continuously, proactively identifying and resolving issues to support reliable system operations.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and interface errors, implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct data consistency checks and cleansing to uphold high-quality data standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to support 2nd level support / DevOps functions and incident resolution.
  • Drive process improvements and data quality initiatives that enhance overall system reliability and efficiency.
  • Document data management procedures, best practices, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
 

Your profile:

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in HR data management or data integration support.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud data tools, including:
    • HCM Data Loader (HDL)
    • People API
    • Reference Data Management (RDM) and/or Spreadsheet Data Loader (SDH)
  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, organizational hierarchies, and mapping rules.
  • Experience with interface monitoring, error handling, and root cause analysis in HR systems.
  • Ability to work independently in providing second-level (L2) support and DevOps activities for HR data integrations.
  • Familiarity with automation tools or process improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to global HR environments and cross-functional data flows.
  • Basic scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Shell, or similar) for data processing.
