Business Overview

This is a busy, fast paced operation which offers many challenges and opportunities for the right person. This position is based at Kempton Park/Jet Park, Gauteng.


Role Outline

Responsible for delivering HR services and systems, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve service quality and cost efficiency. Oversees implementation, maintenance, and support of HR applications, including daily system management, issue resolution, user support, and testing of enhancements to ensure optimal performance.

General Accountabilities

Administration support for all HR Operations work streams

Provide BU and Functional Leads with various HR reports

Implementation to HR Projects and systems

Provide communication to business owners on progress of projects and issues

Provide system support in relation to new hires, CSCS attendance, DHL Contracts info, Medical checks etc.

Ensure incoming inquiries are answered professionally and efficiently.

Identify and verify that employees are entitled to receive requested information.

Perform customer-related data gathering.

Maintain data accuracy and build of dashboards

Deliver accurate customer answers.

Design, setup and demonstrate Proof of Concept for Continuous Improvements

Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

Design, develop, and maintain accurate reports and dashboards; perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends

Provide friendly, efficient and effective service to customers.

Assist in planning the implementation of new capabilities

Accurately document inquiries.

Support guidance on workflow of ‘Employee’ (and ‘Manager of People’) self service transactions.

Create tickets and enter data into appropriate systems (E.g. Case Management system).

Deliver clear, concise and timely communication.

Execute HR Internal Controls.

Provide HR process advice to employees and managers.

Provide first line support related to HR policies and processes for employees, BU and Functional Leads.

Communicate effectively with external providers (e.g. payroll, health & safety provider, medical care provider).

Cooperate closely with Business HR / Resourcing specialist team regarding new employees joining the company. Support Business HR on activities related to changes in conditions for existing employees (amendments to contracts, agreements etc.). Support Business HR with termination administration.

Coordinate with the Centres of Excellence to administer HR solutions (e.g. training coordination, compensation and benefits administration, reporting and analysis etc).

Day-to-day administrative support focus to set standards and instructions.

Tasks / interactions mostly address immediate issues (e.g. daily, weekly or monthly reports / deadlines).

Understand and work to key HR concepts, processes, methods and tools including metrics, standards and policies.

Knowledge and use of HR systems including vendor / supplier systems

Support and interact with business partners, managers and employees on procedures and individual cases

Root Cause Analysis

Successful implementation of new functionality or capabilities         

                                                                                                                                  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Advantageous: HR systems certification or data analytics tools.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel and reporting/dashboard tools.


Skills/Competencies/Experiences

Proven experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and HR service delivery.

Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and case management systems.

Strong background in HR reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation.

Exposure to HR project implementation, system/process improvements, and root cause analysis.

Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders (employees, managers, external providers, Centres of Excellence).

Customer service–oriented with the ability to deliver clear, professional, and efficient support.
