Description
Leidos is seeking an Education and Training Specialist, contingent upon contract award, who will oversee the training development and delivery of educational materials, webinars, and training services. Key responsibilities include managing the creation, approval, and deployment of training and educational content, including assessing organizational training needs, evaluating training effectiveness, and revising curricula.
Role will be primarily telecommute

Delivers E-Learning Webinars by leading and presenting live online training sessions.
Manages Virtual Session Logistics, overseeing all organizational and technical aspects of webinars, including scheduling, setting up the virtual meeting platform, and coordinating with participants.
Facilitates Engaging Trainings including guiding interactive discussions, utilizing various learning techniques, encouraging participation, and helps learners understand and apply new information.
Ensures Effective Online Training by creating a positive and productive learning environment in virtual settings, including managing potential technical issues and maintaining a schedule.
Provides Ongoing Learner Support by offering assistance to participants before, during, and after training sessions, including addressing questions and providing feedback. Develops learning content for adult learners using multimodal learning modalities. Utilizes elearning programs to develop engaging presentations.
Requires a BA degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience delivering digital learning content in an e-learning environment.
The course work must have included study in at least four of the following five areas: (1) Learning theory, psychology of learning, educational psychology, (2) Instructional design practices, (3) Educational evaluation, (4) Instructional product development: and (5) Computers in education and training.
Preference will be given for individuals with experience supporting Military populations and/or with behavioral healthcare, EAP services, or another healthcare setting.
This position supports the Navy Fleet and Family Support contract. NFFS delivers comprehensive Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services worldwide, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for active-duty Sailors, retirees, eligible civilians overseas, and their families. The program implements, evaluates, and continually refines established FFSP offerings—developing the concepts, structures, and processes needed to maximize well-being across all installations. Key objectives include providing global staffing to supplement existing FFSP personnel through remote or surge/on-demand support, and delivering webinar hosting, production, and facilitation via a robust learning-management system.
