Job Purpose
CIS (Certified International Specialist) is DHL Express’ global cultural change program, offering 150+ learning and development modules for 110k+ employees across all roles and functions. The program reinforces our company culture and ensures our employees are equipped with the required skills and knowledge to deliver great service quality to our customers.

The role of Global CIS Project Manager is a part of the Global CIS Program Office and is responsible for the management of Global CIS digital solutions for DHL Express. This role focuses on developing and maintaining a comprehensive digital products roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and fostering continuous improvement. By leading agile product teams and collaborating with cross-functional experts, the position aims to enhance digital adoption, optimize user experience, and integrate emerging technologies, including AI, to deliver impactful digital solutions that support the organization's objectives and the CIS Paperless 2030 strategy.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

Global CIS Digital Products Owner
• Acting as Product Owner and Manager of all Global CIS digital solutions (portals, applications, learning platforms) used across DHL Express.
• Developing, owning, and maintaining the CIS Digital Products roadmap in line with strategic priorities.
• Leading continuous improvement, change management, and lifecycle support for critical CIS digital assets to ensure maximum business impact and user engagement.
• Driving digital adoption and learning transformation, collaborating closely with subject matter experts, functional leaders, and regional CIS teams.
• Managing agile product teams (internal and external IT vendors) to develop and scale digital learning and management solutions, ensuring security, performance, and user-centric design.
• Ensuring alignment with BUIT, Procurement, Compliance, and Governance to maintain process integrity and support the scalable deployment of digital products.
• Steering digital device stock takes and aligning country-level hardware requirements with the CIS Paperless 2030 strategy to close operational gaps.

AI and Emerging Technologies
• Leading the strategic integration of AI technologies into CIS digital products and platforms (e.g., generative AI for content creation and AI-enhanced translations).
• Owning and steering AI-related PoCs and pilot initiatives in collaboration with the Data Analytics team, BUIT, and external partners.
• Working with functional and cross-functional experts to identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies for CIS, e.g., for content development, deployment, or to improve user experience.
• Ensuring ethical and responsible AI use, aligned with DHL’s global AI policies and frameworks.
• Staying abreast of new trends in emerging tech (e.g., AR/VR, adaptive learning platforms) and assessing their relevance for CIS’s digital future.

Digital Project Support
• Driving ongoing digital projects, e.g., CIS Portal Consolidation and CIS Repository.
• Manage and oversee ticketing processes with regional teams and suppliers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and providing visibility into ticket status.
• Resolve escalations effectively and coordinate communications between regions, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless ticket management.
• Monitor ticket trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall service delivery.
• Support cross-division working groups in alignment with other members of the Program office team.
• Providing support for CIS tools and related platforms, e.g., MyTW event admin, Global CIS SharePoint, DeCISion (CIS reporting solution), and Asana (CIS Project Management) support.

Do you have what it takes?

•4-5 years of experience in the related field.
•Experience managing agile product teams, including internal and external IT vendors.
•Experience in end-to-end reporting, data analytics, and advanced Power BI skills is preferred.
•Proven experience in digital product ownership and management, e.g., portals, applications, and learning platforms.
•A track record of piloting and rolling out solutions based on emerging technologies is beneficial.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills influencing cross-cultural teams.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize within a continuously changing environment.
•Ability to learn and understand new tools and technology quickly.
•Higher level education.
•Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
•Excellent English knowledge, both verbal and written.
