Summary:
The Director of Change Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of organizational changes. This role involves developing strategies, communication plans, and training programs to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of changes within the company. The Director collaborates with senior leadership, project managers, and various stakeholders to drive change initiatives. Additionally, this role will analyze the impact of changes, monitor progress, and provide guidance to teams to achieve desired outcomes. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential for this role.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Change Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with organizational goals and transformation programs.
Conduct change impact analyses and readiness assessments to determine potential challenges and resource needs.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and leaders, providing guidance on change impacts, adoption strategies, and communication approaches.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to drive buy-in and support for change initiatives.
Change Execution
Lead the design and delivery of change management plans, including communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and reinforcement activities.
Establish feedback loops to monitor adoption, address resistance, and ensure sustainable change.
Culture & Capability Building
Embed a culture of agility and continuous improvement by developing tools, templates, and training for leaders and employees.
Coach managers and supervisors on their role in supporting change within their teams.
Measurement & Reporting
Define and track change adoption metrics, providing data-driven insights to leadership on progress and risks.
Continuously refine change management processes based on lessons learned and industry best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step).
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
Ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decision-making.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master’s preferred).
12+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or transformation leadership roles.
Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide change initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Prosci Change Management Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP)
