Position Summary:
The Program Manager, Strategic Transactions & Partnerships supports both NeoGenomics’ mergers and acquisitions activities and its strategic external collaborations. This role splits time between executing M&A transactions (diligence, integration planning, post-close delivery) and managing partnership collaborations with external organizations. The position requires strong project management, analytical, and relationship-building skills to ensure both transactions and collaborations are executed successfully and aligned with corporate goals.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal and external diligence workstreams for M&A transactions across business, legal, financial, and operational areas
  • Support integration planning and delivery following deal close, including short- and long-term execution tracking
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align on transaction and partnership goals
  • Manage partnership project delivery by ensuring alignment, tracking deliverables, and maintaining communication with external partners
  • Prepare financial analyses, status reports, and presentations for leadership on both M&A and collaborations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with drafting and review of transaction documents, board materials, and collaboration agreements as needed
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience in partnership management, program coordination, or project management
  • Experience in a healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences environment preferred
  • Exposure to strategic transactions, due diligence, and integration activities a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Workplace location flexible, based on business needs
