Foster Care/Adoption:
Work directly as a member of the permanency team, as well as therapeutic foster and adoptive parents within the program by completing home studies and re-approvals in a timely and efficient manner. Works collaboratively with the Department of Children and Families as it relates to Permanency Services. Enters Placement Program (PPSP) contracts. Conducts SEARCHES by assisting and guiding clients who request non-identifying information and/or inquire about initiating the full search process for birth family and/or birth child.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinician provides direct services to clients, in the office, school, or other identified setting to meet the unique needs of families served. Unlicensed clinicians are hired prior to obtaining their license to practice as mental health practitioners (i.e., psychology, social work, LMFT, LPC, LADC). Unlicensed clinicians will receive supervision by a licensed clinician and may be offered training opportunities. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians are expected to obtain licensure to be considered for ongoing employment at The Village.
