Location: Virginia Beach, VA (on-site)

Shift: 8:15 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. (ET) Monday- Friday

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist verifies and posts daily accounts receivable activity focusing on effectively and efficiently collecting customer balances due while building and maintaining good customer relationships.

What you'll do:

  • Processing Payments: Processes timely and accurately customer payments, invoices.
  • Collections: Soliciting and collection of payment on account receivable balances in a timely manner. Exhibits excellent customer service to all clients (internal & external) in a courteous & professional manner.
  • Records Management: Maintains proper records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files and credit risks.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of hands-on Accounts Receivable/ Collection experience or relevant LifeNet Health experience in administrative, customer experience, or other related role.

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Accounting Certificate
  • Business to Business Collections/ Accounts Receivable experience

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite

$18.51 - $24.68 hourly

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate's qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $18.51 hourly (entry- level qualifications) to $24.68 hourly (experienced in this role). *

This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
