Sr. Executive - Transportation
1. Operational Management
• Manage inbound, outbound, and cross-dock operations.
• Ensure accurate scanning, sorting, and timely movement of shipments.
• Monitor adherence to TAT and cut-off timelines.
2 . People Management
• Supervise hub staff, drivers, and handling teams.
• Allocate resources effectively to manage peak and non-peak volumes.
• Conduct regular team briefings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Process & Compliance
• Ensure 100% compliance to operational SOPs.
• Monitor weight, volumetric checks, and shipment handling standards.
• Maintain documentation and support audits. Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with network, line haul, and client teams for smooth operations.
• Provide timely updates on exceptions or delays.
• Handle escalations and ensure quick resolution. Performance & Cost Control
• Track KPIs like on-time departure, on time unloading , vehicle utilization, and cost per shipment.
• Reduce damages, losses, and reprocessing through strict control.
• Optimize manpower and vendor resources.
4. Skills & Qualifications:
• Graduate with 4–6 years of logistics / hub operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of hub & line haul processes.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of TMS systems.
