Job Opportunity: Cloud Business Process Analyst – San Antonio, TX
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
Join Leidos in shaping the future of national defense technology. We're looking for a motivated Cloud Business Process Analyst to support cloud migration efforts within the DAF CLOUDworks environment. This hybrid role, located in San Antonio, TX, offers a dynamic mix of technical challenges and strategic responsibilities in support of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Business Process Analyst, you’ll contribute to the success of Air Force Commercial Cloud Services (AFC2S) by:
Identifying and resolving business challenges across AFC2S teams using IC ITE services
Providing technical guidance to Air Force customers transitioning to C2S/C2E cloud platforms
Supporting customers in integrating cloud solutions and strategies using best practices and available tools
Offering insights and recommendations on AWS, IC ITE GovCloud, C2S, and other federal or emerging cloud frameworks
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day work will include:
Troubleshooting issues related to Jira and onboarding processes for C2S/C2E
Researching and drafting policies and procedures to formalize program responsibilities
Assisting with project management, business development, and customer engagement
Leading discussions such as Business and Technical Exchange Meetings
Delivering metrics and reports to leadership using SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence
Creating business reports and processes to capture and communicate key data
Understanding the contract acquisition process and supporting budget oversight for C2S/C2E customers
Acting as a liaison between stakeholders, Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), and SMEs to assess cloud solution fit
Translating business needs into system specifications with strong interpretive skills
Explaining how Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls are inherited
Clarifying how funding is applied to task orders
Understanding AWS payer account structures and their linkage to tenant accounts and task orders
What You Bring (Required)
An active TS/SCI security clearance on day 1
Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent certification
Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM, Oracle, Google)
Experience using the AWS pricing tool to generate cost estimates
Experience with Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, and other project tracking tools
Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and make recommendations
Strong communication skills across all levels—management, government, peers, and teams
A collaborative mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing and presentation skills for briefing and documentation
Ability to work a hybrid schedule (subject to mission needs)
