Job Summary:
The Recruiter will play a key role in driving our talent acquisition efforts by developing and executing creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates and maintain a consistent pipeline of talent. This position will manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and screening candidates to guiding hiring decisions—while ensuring a positive and professional experience for all applicants. The Recruiter will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers across the organization.
Essential Functions:
  • Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment needs, job requirements, and accurate job descriptions.
  • Develop and implement effective, innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and all levels of management to meet workforce needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the entire interview process, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company policies.
  • Evaluate candidates through resume reviews, behavioral-based interviews, and assessments to determine qualifications and fit.
  • Provide hiring managers with informed recommendations and insights to support final selection decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of applicants, interview documentation, and hiring-related materials.
  • Manage the candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, professionalism, and integrity throughout the process.
  • Promote the company's employer brand on social media, job boards, and professional platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor.
  • Attend and represent the company at job fairs, campus recruiting events, and other sourcing activities.
  • Build proactive pipelines and connections to talent communities for current and future hiring needs.
  • Oversee the pre-employment process to ensure candidates meet company standards for quality, background, and integrity.
  • Administer and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and partner with external recruiting vendors as needed.
  • Gather feedback from hiring managers on recruitment effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting practices and principles.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (federal and state).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, job roles, and workforce requirements (production, skilled trades, maintenance, quality, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Knowledge of current sourcing trends, labor market conditions, and competitive compensation practices in manufacturing industries.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to partner effectively with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and candidates.
  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills to evaluate technical abilities, cultural fit, and work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling job postings and correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Ability to adapt recruiting strategies based on shifting production demands and business priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and skilled trade roles.
  • Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and attention to detail under pressure and tight deadlines.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional recruiting experience supporting cross-functional teams required.
  • Recruiting and/or HR experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Background Prerequisites:
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
