Join Our Deposit Operations Team as a Deposit Operations Analyst! 

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about supporting both customers and internal teams? 

Join our Deposit Operations team and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality support to our branch staff and customers. 

This position is responsible for a wide range of operational functions, from processing ACH and debit card transactions to wire transfers, reporting, account research, and regulatory compliance.

Position report to Deposit Operations Supervisor.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct support to branch staff and customers via phone, mail, and email to resolve questions and concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute critical reports to support data-driven decision making across departments.
  • Process and post ACH credits, debits, originations, returned deposits, non-posted items, and domestic/international wire transfers accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a backup for the Retail Operations Supervisor and Deposit Operations Supervisor, assisting with rates, product management, testing, procedures, and branch support.
  • Research and process subpoenas, summons, and escheatment of accounts.
  • Handle debit card disputes, chargebacks, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and cash management functions.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer accounts by returning invalid checks and closing long-term delinquent accounts.
  • Process W-8 forms, federal withholding, and charge-off reporting to credit bureaus and ChexSystems.
  • Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC, and NACHA.

Back Office Core Hours

Monday – Friday 8:15 am – 5:00 pm

Pay Information

The hourly pay range for this role is $25.74 to $32.18, based on years of experience, skill set, qualifications and other relevant factors. 

Incentive compensation is available based on bank and individual performance goals. Paid out annually (based on hire date)

Experience


 Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

Education/Certifications/Licenses


 A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school is preferred.

Interpersonal Skills


 A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically, it includes subject matter experts as well as first level middle managers.
 

Other Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to Bank Secrecy Act, NACHA OFAC, Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards, and Funds Availability, etc. General capabilities in the use of personal computer-based business application software.

This position primarily involves sedentary work with minimal physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. The role may occasionally require the ability to navigate stairs in emergency situations. Routine use of standard office equipment such as telephones, copiers, calculators, and computers expected, with computer-based tasks typically performed for an average of 6-8 hours per day, as needed. The ability to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Travel may be necessary and could involve various modes of transportation, including driving or riding in an automobile, using commercial airlines, rental vehicles, or public transportation, and staying in public lodging facilities. Regular, reliable, and timely attendance is an essential function of this role.
