The Junior Electrical Account Manager serves as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service while supporting sales and business development efforts. This role builds strong relationships across the commercial and government sectors, works closely with technical teams to define scopes of work, and helps drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

  1. Client Relationship Management & Support
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across commercial and government sectors.
    • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and aligning solutions to their goals.
    • Represent Compu Dynamics with professionalism in all client interactions.
  1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and new markets.
    • Collaborate with senior sales staff to develop strategies for growth and expansion.
    • Assist in cross-selling and up-selling Compu Dynamics services and solutions.
  1. Scoping, Estimation & Proposal Support
    • Partner with sales and technical teams to define scopes of work for projects and service requests.
    • Develop accurate, timely estimates and proposals for clients.
    • Ensure proposals reflect technical accuracy, compliance requirements, and client needs.
  1. Industry Knowledge & Market Awareness
    • Stay informed on trends and developments in mission-critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, and IT systems.
    • Maintain working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment such as breakers, panels, switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, busways, ATS, and related systems.
    • Share insights with internal teams to support innovation and client solutions.
  1. Reporting, Documentation & CRM Management
    • Maintain up-to-date client information in CRM tools and internal tracking systems.
    • Prepare reports, sales demos, and client documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Support ongoing data quality efforts to ensure accurate forecasting and account tracking.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to junior team members or support staff as needed.

Work Environment

This role includes a mix of office and field work, including visits to client sites and job locations.

  • Occasional after-hours work, including nights or weekends, may be required to meet client needs.
  • Work is performed in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with frequent interaction across departments.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
  • Use hands to handle or operate office and field equipment.
  • Lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evening or weekend work based on client demands.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1+ year of experience in the electrical or data center industries.
  3. 13 years of outside sales or account management experience.
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Strong presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  6. Valid drivers license in good standing.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Familiarity with IT infrastructure and mission-critical systems (power, cooling, etc.).
  2. Knowledge of electrical equipment such as breakers, panels, transformers, switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, busways, ATS, etc.

Compu Dynamics Pay Range
$55,000—$75,000 USD
