Position Title:Supported Employment Supervisor - Supported Employment
Location: Owensboro, KY
Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Director of ACT, the Supported Employment Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the Supported Employment and IPS Services. Duties include the supervision of the job coaches, the development of the supported employment program, billing, implementation and monitoring, review of the vocational rehabilitation documentation, as well as Quality Assurance Monitors.
Essential Functions:
Supervises and evaluates staff on an ongoing basis, but at least annually. Develops action plans with employees when a need for improvement has been identified. Completes disciplinary forms under the direction of the Director. 85-90% accuracy as evidenced through completion of annual evaluations and disciplinary forms as needed.
Job coaches/job develops as needed, ensuring that at least 40% of time worked is billable time.
Oversees the daily operation of the area program including scheduling staff, copying, filing, and distributing all appropriate paperwork for staff and clients. 90-95% accuracy as observed by supervisor while checking client and staff files meets or exceeds standards.
Completes personnel tasks including pre-screening and interviewing perspective staff, personnel paperwork (including new hire, enrollment, training completion and documentation), and time sheets. 90-95% accuracy as evidenced by completion of paperwork, timely submission of time sheets, and billing documents meets or exceeds standards.
Monitors interaction between staff and clients to ensure both are performing at or above the acceptable level.
Conducts monthly staff meetings, monitors quality of services provided, completes assessments as needed, and monitors monthly documentation, data sheets, and summaries. 90-95% accuracy as monitored via staff meeting minutes, program documentation and quality of services meets or exceeds standards.
Completes all billing for the programs.
Adheres to Agency policies and procedures. Treats all clients with dignity and respect and models the interactions expected from staff. Provides back-up coverage as needed. Assists Director in preparation for surveys from all regulatory agencies.
Maintains regular communication with the Support Coordination agency to ensure effective communication and dissemination of information regarding clients. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary process when appropriate.
Cooperates and works as a team member with supervisor and fellow employees. Maintains a positive attitude.
Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred with three (3) years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities, or in a related employment field.
Or
Associate’s degree in a Human Services field and two (2) years’ experience working with people with disabilities, or in a related employment field.
Or
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services.
One (1) year supervisory experience may be counted in lieu of work experience.
