HVAC Customer Service Job Summary: Provides friendly, helpful customer service and manages quotes and orders for established customers from start to finish.

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by phone, email, and online chat.
  • Receive, process, and track orders; prepare quotes and job files.
  • Support online customers with orders and account troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with vendors, sales reps, and internal teams to fulfill orders.
  • Order products/equipment and resolve issues related to billing, shipping, or service.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with reporting.
  • Provide backup support in warehouse, counter, and showroom as needed.
  • Stay current on products and train others as required.
  • Ensure safe work practices and maintain reliable attendance.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of company products and their applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Eclipse.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company positively.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
  • Solid math skills, including basic calculations, percentages, and measurements.
  • Competent in using standard office equipment.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or 
  • One year of related experience and training; or
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education.

 

Certifications and/or Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record may be required to drive for business.

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
 This position requires regular sitting, talking, hearing, and use of hands, with frequent walking, standing, reaching, and handling. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds may be required. Clear close vision (20 inches or less) is necessary. Work is primarily performed indoors in a moderate noise environment. Employees must be able to perform job functions safely, remain alert, and pass substance abuse screening. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
